Job Title: Media Assistant I
Department: Department of Information
   
Salary: D17, 150 per annum - Grade 4 of the Integrated pay scale
Duties: The Media Assistant I will:
• Write reports, features news stories including sports and health news etc.
• Perform any other duties assigned by his/her supervisors
SKILLS:
The person we are seeking should be:
• Fluent in written and spoken English;
• Computer literate
Qualifications: Applicants should have:
A Certificate in Journalism from a recognised Media Institution .
Media Assistants II on Grade 3 with a minimum of 3 (three) years’ proven performance can apply.
Closing Date: 16th February 2010 (no later than 4 p.m.)
Note: Application forms (Form 16 B) are available at the Records Office of the Public Service Commission (PSC), The Quadrangle, Banjul.

Applicants should submit their completed applications together with copies of all their certificates, relevant documents and their Birth Certificates at the same Records Office not later than 16th February 2010.
